In this place where he lays, he feels a dread every day Or is it all made in his mind In need of time to repress this irrevocable stress Is there a place that exists to unwind? He was dreaming of the sunshine, but couldn't find it anywhere Followed his heart, then turned back the dial on clarity Sundays turn to a nightmare. If only he could fall asleep! Fall, fall, fall, back into the rhythm of his heart machine. Dancing into the flow to help his confidence grow Exhausted from the comfort of words Building strength as he dressed, he bought a ticket express The light flooded into his eyes Getting tired of is own mind – knowing in his heart he's got a gold mine The time has come to break this spell for good. Dust himself off for another round Giving his best – there's no going down Step out and show the world what he can do Metropolistic noise did it stop? He recognized a voice from afar Is this the place that they've been dreaming of? Finally here to get away from the fear of All the burdens we can't seem to let go

I don't need your love, but only if I could be right And when I fall down and call up, you're nowhere in sight You don't need my love, but tell me if this is the night Would you find a little room for us, before I go outside I don't need your love no more I can't speak to you alone Pour my heart and soul to a portrait that I'll never see Listening again once more – I'm healing and free Let my heartstrings soar, unknowing I'm back on my knees I shouldn't give a little hope for us, but I want you with me I still need your love once more I can't speak with you around

I guess what you say goes // I don't know how to say no Feels like there is this imminent collapse in everything I do Stifling is a word for it, but I think I still love you though I might be trying to exit the mine, but I don't know I think I still love you though

about

Three years ago today, I took a train from Philly to Newport News, VA, and started work on an EP with my internet BFF, Nuna. We spent an entire weekend writing, recording, mixing and bonding over what began as a friendship through a Discord server started by Michael Mason. Since then, we've finally wrapped up what turned out to be 20 minutes of low-key festival music, full of domestic sounds and full-bodied synthesizers. Each of these songs went through countless iterations due to never having a deadline to work against. We feel that there's nothing more to add, so it's finally time to share it with our friends!

For the time being, we will not be releasing the EP on streaming services, due to concerns with unbalanced revenue models and unwanted stress of dealing with global distribution. On March 25th, you can purchase or stream the Four Day Weekend EP on bandcamp or stream on the Triangle Boys soundcloud page. If you desperately want it on Spotify, let us know, and we'll consider it.
